Canada Post delivers direct mail under a variety of postal streams, which include:

• Neighbourhood Mail (formerly known as Unaddressed Admail)
• Personalized Mail (formerly known as Addressed Admail)
• Postal Code Targeting
• Lettermail
• Business Reply Mail
• Pubmail (Publications Mail)
• Letter-post (USA and International)
• Parcel services.

Each postal stream uses a size/weight pricing structure. As a Canada Post Smartmail Marketing Expert Partner, Troi Mailing Services can pre-print or inkjet a Machineable postal indicia onto each direct mailer.

How is Lettermail Different From Other Direct Mail Services

Here are a few key takeaways that help differentiate Lettermail from other direct mail services:

• Lettermail generally refers to informational mail without a sales oriented call-to-action, as opposed to promotional Personalized Mail
• While Personalized Mail must meet commercial content requirements, Lettermail may be of virtually any nature (informational or promotional)

• Maximum dimensions for Standard Lettermail are 6.1″ x 9.6″ x 0.2″ (thickness) before classified as Oversize
