The price increase to first class lettermail is less than 1 month away.

As of March 31, 2014, for Lettermail weighing less than 30g:

• Consumers purchasing single stamps will pay $1.00 per piece
• Consumers purchasing rolls of stamps will pay $0.85 per piece
• Businesses using a postage meter or indicia will pay $0.75 per piece

Once your mail is deemed machineable, it will in turn allow Canada Post to run your materials through their address readers within their processing centers. The end result is less handling by Canada Post and a quicker turn around time for your mail at the lowest overall postage cost.
